We already completed several projects at parking garages, factories and exhibitions and have a lot more projects in the pipeline. Our primary customers are the automotive OEMs of this world. This is an example of our solution: Vehicles Could Soon Be Driving Themselves Off The Production Line at Ford’s Cologne EV Centre. The Development Team at Kopernikus Automotive is in need for talented people with a strong background in signal detection / signal recovery who would love to join us. While close collaboration with our development teams is needed, remote work is possible.

Signal Processing Expert (m/f/d)

Role summary:
​
As a Signal Processing Expert at Kopernikus Automotive, you will be pivotal in identifying and analyzing signals within video data, utilizing advanced signal processing and machine learning techniques. Your expertise in prototyping algorithms in Python, implementing and optimizing them in C/C++ or Rust, and using frameworks like OpenCV, coupled with your deep understanding of signal transformation, will enable you to uncover and interpret complex patterns and anomalies in video streams, driving the innovation of our solution.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement advanced signal processing algorithms.

Employ signal transformation techniques, like Fourier, Wavelet, and Z-Transforms, to enable comprehensive signal analysis and feature extraction.

Optimize and implement real-time signal processing applications using C/C++ and Rust, ensuring high-performance data processing and analysis.

Leverage machine learning and signal processing methodologies to improve anomaly detection and pattern recognition in video streams.

Integrate signal processing and analysis capabilities into our system architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability and seamless operation.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in signal processing, machine learning, and software development, applying innovative solutions to maintain our technological edge.

Mentor team members, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving in signal processing and video analytics.

Knowledge of tools and technologies we are looking for:

Expertise in C/C++ and Rust for developing high-performance signal processing applications.

Proficiency in using Python's SciPy, and NumPy for signal analysis and processing tasks.

Extensive experience with OpenCV for video data processing, image manipulation, and implementing computer vision algorithms.

Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant ML frameworks for integrating AI-driven approaches in signal analysis.

Familiarity with IDEs and version control systems like Git to manage and collaborate on code development.

Skill in using Python's visualization libraries to present data insights effectively.

To stand out of the crowd:

Demonstrated involvement in cutting-edge research in signal processing or machine learning, evidenced by published papers, patents, or significant contributions to open-source projects.

Experience applying signal detection techniques in varied domains such as healthcare, finance, or automotive, demonstrating the ability to adapt and innovate across industries.

Possession of a PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on signal processing or machine learning.

Proven experience in developing and deploying real-time signal processing systems, particularly in a video analytics context.
